Are you suggesting that "black balls" have been used in a cricketing context ? It's bad enough with red, white, and pink already !

Devon were also slated for a while to be the 19th county when dominating the Minor Counties scene in the late 90s/early 2000s.

From the mid-90s Deb'm played under Peter Roebuck. He tended to bat down the order, but did quite a bit of bowling.

Can I politely ask who thought it would be a good idea to tour Sri Lanka in the monsoon season?

Squeaky bum time in the Middle East? Australia, needing 462 to beat Pakistan, have recovered from 87/3 to be 322/5.

Ex cricketer David Capel recovering after an operation to remove a brain tumour. Best wishes to him.

I remember a benefit match Northants played in the 80s. DC was chilling out on a bench by the pavilion after having one or two at the bar.

Echo that - a useful all-rounder who was one of about 58 English all-rounders to be dubbed "The New Botham" until Flintoff finally broke the curse.

Good to see England win. Didn't realise Malingerer was still playing for Sri Lanka.

Back to the top, as once again there is currently no play.
