There was a discussion about this not long ago. I suggested that in the current climate it might not be appropriate. Not many agreed.

Your invitation is cordially rejected. Turning a blind eye to objectification isn't a solution to the problem. If it bothers you that someone points out to you that objectifying another person might not be OK, perhaps you ought to ask yourself why that bothers you and whether your behaviour really is as OK as you thought it was when everyone was just joining in.
