Sausages - one link, one lorne.
    Tattie scone
    Bacon x 3
    Black pudding x 2
    Haggis
Beans (slightly overdone to ensure a thick sauce)
Eggs - soft scrambled preferred but poached is acceptable
    Toast

Brown sauce - ketchup with pork is weird and wrong.

Black coffee and lashings of orange juice.

The fried slice is rightly the subject of some debate, I would eat it if I prepared it myself but would be wary of ordering in a cafe environment.

I concur with Log on the tomato issue, ideally they should be cooked with the bacon in a griddle pan until soft and hot throughout.

Mushrooms are, of course, pure evil.

Should I find myself in a 'spoons' joint my never wavering brekkie is porridge with blueberries followed by eggs benedict. Non of which gets anywhere near a frying pan.

Jellied eels I tried once in an old London pub , Never again !

Many a morning in my youth was spent down the other side of Cockwood collecting winkles and cockles , chuck in a tin bath with fresh water overnight to get the sand / silt out of them then cooked and prised from their shells with a pin for a winkle sandwich.

But anyone who doesn't have them with their Full English is clearly a jonny foreigner or a faddy teen.

The Irish also do an amazing Full English but, humourously, they don't call it that.

    Sausages
    Bacon
    Fried Eggs
    Beans
    Mushrooms
    Toast
    Fried Bread
    Hash Browns (optional)

Tinned tomatoes are vile and I hope no dirty bastard has put chips.

The toast/fried bread should be used as a breakwater for the beans

Assuming you mean those tinned, whole plum tomatoes you could not be more right. I particularly like the inclusion of the bit where the stalk joined on.

What else can you use those things on ? If any of the liquid gets on the fried bread its buggered in seconds !
