Looking through I see Stockley doesn't have his own thread.

Did he really cost "in the region of £300,000 "?

I thought it was more in the region of £100,000.

Me too, and as the League Paper is generally quite reputable this comes as a surprise. Maybe the journalist plucked a figure from out of the air......

I’d be amazed if that fee were true.

I like Stockley a lot as he scores plenty and works his nads off, but it’s just a shame he has little support up top. Yesterday he was trying to chase down loose balls but he doesn’t have the pace to do that effectively. We’re crying out for a quick forward who can stay close to him and give the oppo defence a headache. Then, if we can get balls into the box for Stockley to attack he will score plenty more.

That’s why I’m not convinced this Ryan Loft is worth signing. What’s he going to offer other than being another tall forward who probably doesn’t have the movement or pace to complement Jayden?

Perhaps it’s as Manc says? If you were to pay two grand a week for a two year contract plus a hundred grand transfer fee that’s a £300k total package.

Indeed. Stockley is the Ronnie Jepson. We need a Micky Ross.

Stockley needs a fox in the box. An Alan Banks or Neville or Beer or Cureton or any bloody body.

He could be rescued from Bishop's Stortford to do that job.
