Absolute ****! Just hidden somehow now.... the credit card companies charges to merchants haven't been made illegal.... just the financial market have forced this legislation through which forces merchants to find other ways to get the revenue in to cover card processing charges. Expect the Gates committee to put a quid on the prices across the board when next reviewed.
Stupidly, It's not illegal to offer discounts for payment by other methods instead.
I have raised our prices right across the board regardless of payment method so people who don't use credit cards will also be penalised by this ill thought ill drafted and unnecessary piece of Parliamentary gobbledegook.
