From a football point of view that's 2017 all over and it ended with a win. It was a white knuckle ride of a year, from down in the depths to Wembley. More income than ever before from Watkins and Wheeler and then spending a reported £100k on Stockley. We finish in the play-off places and with a Premiership side next up in the 3rd round of the cup.

What a year. Has there been another like it ?

Take out Wembley and 1989 could be up there to rival it. Top of the table, fourth round of the league cup beating sides in Divisions above along the way and Naarwich waiting for us in the third round of the FA Cup.

Started working on this before your post, after seeing this twitter post https://twitter.com/OfficialECFC/status/947149770304491520 - can confirm the 100 goals. - will try & produce a home/away split.

Presumably the FA Cup line should be W2 D1?

Backing Gary Caldwell, thanks Matt and good luck.
League games

Home 16. 3. 6. 50 goals 27 conceded.
Away 9. 5. 8. 30 goals 32 conceded.

Play offs

Home 1 win 3 goals 2 conceded
Away/neutral 1 draw 1 loss 4 goals 5 conceded.

FA cup

Home two wins 5 goals 2 conceded.
Away one draw 3 goals 3 conceded.

League cup
Home one loss 1 goal 2 conceded.

Efl trophy

Home

2 losses 2 goals 6 conceded.

Away

1 draw 2 goals 2 conceded ( lost on pens 5-3?)

Overall

Home 19 wins 3 draws 9 losses 61 goals 39 conceded.

Away 9 wins 8 draws 9 losses 39 goals 42 conceded.

In total 28 wins 11 draws 18 losses 100 goals 81 conceded.

Away record isn't bad, would have been much better if it wasn't for the last two and a bit months without a win.

Home record is excellent which I am so pleased about, the key has to be continuing to go for the wins and risking losing. If we start drawing more then we can't afford too many losses to go with them.

Edit. I have counted forest green in cup replay as a win and Plymouth in the trophy as a draw, when an arguement could be made for them to be a draw and loss.
