Doesn't make for entertaining football but at least Stockley keeps scoring.

I'm expecting a win today, anything other than a win isn't good enough.

The next two matches are pretty big in terms of our season as Mansfield in 9th are three points behind us with a better goal difference, our goal difference suggests we are a mid table team.

Because of the need to ingest a bacon sandwich ahead of the pre-match drinkies this is earlier than expected. It's 7c, but as LOG observes elsewhere it feels colder. The wind hasn't changed direction, it's still coming from the south. It's rained in the last hour, and it looks as though it could/should rain again both before and during the match. There's now 100% light grey cloud cover and with 'sunset' (hah!) at 16.14 today it'll remain dimpsey. I am looking forward to the FECRACE offerings rather more than I'm looking forward to the game which I think will be dour affair short on entertainment with two teams who desperately need points. On present form we're not promotion contenders, but I do feel FGR are relegation possibilities, which will make it even more desperate. Oh, it's a delight to be a City fan in bleak midwinter.

I felt that was rather Dickensian, Doctor D. Keep up the good work.
