Up for the Cup. Please don't rain! Do the job and come home injuries free. Safe trip all. Enjoy the day.
"Up for the Cup"; sadly a bygone phrase from when the FA Cup was the greatest competition in our world. Some wonderful memories of those halcyon FA Cup days. 'The Matthews Final' of 53', the 'Bert Trautmann Final' of 1966, and who could forget the wonderful final from 1973, when Sunderland clung on to a one goal lead v the best team in the country at that time, Leeds United. A huge debt was owed to Sunderland keeper Jim Montgomery, who made one breathtaking save after another! Now very few give a shiit about the thing!Up for the Cup. Safe trip all. Enjoy the day.

Do you deliberately look for posts where you can find a comment that can be 'lifted', and republished out of context, complete with your troublemaking bulls**t? Its not only me either. Virtually every post you make to anybody has content which you know full well is inflamatory. I honestly dont understand what makes you tick. You go in to bat regarding anything posted that can be construed (by you) as criticising the club, as is the case here. A nice bit of chit-chat going on with fellow long term exewebbers about the FA Cup, and you blatently derail the thread."Now very few give a shiit about the thing"Really? - What about the nearly 900 away fans heading to Nailsworth today?
