Can't wait for this. See the mighty Grecians blitz the Spireites at the Prozac stadium and be back home in Hasland for 5 o clock (injury time permitting). I know there are a few other exiled Grecians living in the town also as well as a lot living a bit further afield so a large travelling contingent is expected to be crammed into the side of the East Stand instead of CFC affording us the respect we deserve and giving us the North Stand behind the goal.

Lots of 2-1 score predictions for them on their forum. One 'Gordon Brittas' on there confidently predicting a 2-0 blues win on the basis that we are due a loss. Errr our last two home league games before Grimsby were defeats Gordon. Get with the programme sunshine! ;)

I have to go for a 4-1 to us. Keep Krystian Dennis quiet and our quality will be way too much.

Quote from Tis yesterday:
"Liam McAlinden had a very, very good game indeed, which was no surprise as he'd been training very well, so it's good to have options". Lets hope he is picked for the Chesterfield game.

Been saying it for weeks now and absolutely no coincidence we won with McAlinden on the pitch.

If McAlinden starts we will have too much for them and will win 2-0.... He is so under rated by Tis, but works hard and moves more over 20 minutes than Stockley / Reid combined over 90.
He is quick can create chances and IMO our best striker.

However if he goes back to Stockley / Reid the hoof ball will continue and so will the defeats.

You go me on the alarm clock
Chesterfield have played 17, scored 17, conceded 33. I'll take the statto way out and predict a 1-2 win for City.

It's not if Tis realises that we can't play with two centre forwards and using McAlinden as a strike partner is the better option, it's if he's prepared to admit it. Don't care if it's Stockers or Reidy that plays, but not both!

Matt, we've all been saying, its just been our manager that kept the first eleven unchanged with effectively two target men, with only one who has any real pace.
