One of life's more unpleasant experiences is getting on a train full of drunken rugby fans. Can't Rowe bus them in to Exeter? He has a bit of cash spare.

errm the 1A12 0740 Paignton to Paddington (a "Class 1 HST Express") stops at Exeter St Thomas every weekday at around 08.33 as does the return 1C91 17:33 Paddington to Paignton HST, at around 20.24.

    Next question, please?

What is the logic of not stopping at SJPH? Itíll just mean football fans will get off at Central. It wonít ease congestion. The only slight benefit I can see is it will speed up journey times by about two mins.

Is this due to Elf n’ Safety with the risk of customers being hit by stray footballs ?

Ok, so there is one either way each day, commuter trains to the big smoke. I stand corrected.

Rowe won't spend money unessacarily, that's how he gets so much,if you are a chiefs season ticket holder, the demand for payment becomes earlier every season, and some of them are getting a bit ****ed off with the money grabbing ethos surrounding the cheifs!

    Could not agree more Hants.

    Odious obnoxious Hooray Henrys"

Funny when its "soccer" fans its always hooliganism whereas for the Rugger-Bu**gers its invariably "high jinks".

When we sing a few songs on the train its always "a riot" whereas when they run rampage its merely "high spirits...or, merely, "high ON spirits"

If an SF merely glances appreciatively at a female passenger its "harassment"
Whereas a group of intoxicated RBs can lurch through the whole train grabbing at every cleavage available it's merely "a display of heterosexual manliness"...
a bit ironic for a game whose main rule book seems designed to give over-entitled public schoolboys a surreptitious excuse to plant their noses in a team mates anus whilst simultaneously groping for an opponent's testicles.

As I say, queer old game is rugger.

    made me laugh this thanks.

Those people who claim to be disillusioned with all the petulance and kicking off on the football pitch by spoilt players and proclaim they are going to switch over to watching rugby instead because in rugby they always respect the referee and other players etc etc etc. Not sure that stacks up when you see endless limbs being stamped on or eyes being gouged. There is nothing so aesthetically challenging as a load of oversized blokes clattering into one another whilst trying to catch an irregular shaped ball.

Shouldn't that be on the 'little things that amuse you' thread Fred?

Then again, maybe not. Those things are massive!
