    Ireland knew the rules and didn't attempt any form of attacking football in the first leg probably because they knew they'd get dicked as was shown when they belatedly tried attacking in the second leg.

    Irrelevant to the debate. It's unfair for one goal scored to be worth more than one scored for the side playing away.

    Apologies. I'll correct that. It's unfair for one goal scored by the away side to be worth more than one goal scored for the home side. Got there in the end. Confusing myself now!
