A court has ruled Oyston must pay over 30m to a previous shareholder. That might just end the ongoing nightmare for the supporters up there.....

Oh dear, what a shame...NOT. Would expect them to try their damnedest to get away with not paying.

Judge is totally ****ed off with Oyston's delaying tactics, and missing of payment installments and has now ruled that Beloken can simply go ahead and help himself to any of the Oyston's frozen assets to the value of the remaining debt plus legal expenses. Blackpool supporters are a very happy bunch tonight. (clap) (clap) (clap) (y)

The bailiffs have turned up this morning. It appears Valeri Belokon has begun legal enforcement against the Oystons.

Party Central in Blackpool tonight, the court appointed receiver has appointed new boards for both Blackpool FC and its Property company, removing the Oyston Family, they have a couple of away games and then the triumphal end to the boycott, and a packed Bloomfield Road ! (clap)

It will be good to get this mess sorted out at last so that clubs like ours stop becoming victims. The fans are having their say and voting with their feet which is all well and good but when the Blackpool circus comes to town in the FA Cup, next to no supporters show up and then they slink back up the motorway with 45% of the gate money then it's the innocent party paying the price.

Good riddance.

And their boycott cost us in the receipts from the Wembley play off final too ! Can't blame the fans though as it was down to that evil conniving family ! (devil)

I think the Blackpool fans deserve credit, especially when compared to Coventry’s fans. They celebrated their play-off victory as if all was right in their world and this game marked the return to greatness for their club; nine months later that seems just a little bit premature.
