    That's the whistle. 2-1 defeat. Not sure we deserved to lose that. The much better team IMO just some dreadful finishing that cost us

    I'd say there's no shame in losing 2-1 away to the strongest team in the group on paper, especially when one of those goals against was a deflection.

    Although saying at start of day they were the strongest on paper, I've since discovered they lost 0-5 at home to Brighton https://www.premierleague.com/result...=9&se=97&cl=-1

    Quick summary ... As others have said ... We played better, had more of the chances, just not clinical enough in front of goal.
    There was a deflection for Sunderland's first & 2nd Hamon appeared to be out of position.
    McAlinden's right in the top corner, numerous other chances went wide or comfortably saved by the keeper.
    Attendance (did a quick head count) _90-100 (Away supporters 3)
