There is no ‘British Open’, it’s ‘The Open Championship’.

Very solid round by Molinari to win it.

Justin Rose went very close despite nearly missing the cut two days ago.

You said there is no British Open, but..
"The Open Championship, often referred to as The Open or the British Open, is the oldest of the four major championships in professional golf. It was first played in 1860 at Prestwick Golf Club in Scotland". Wikipedia

This has the makings of a classic Moxey Exeweb argument. Can’t wait.

Well quite: “often referred to”. A number of things are “often referred to” but it doesn’t make it so, neither does using that most august of sources Wikipedia. It’s “The Open Championship” and that’s it, to refer it any other way is quite simply wrong, and to continue to argue the point is arguing simply for the sake of it: it’s “The Open Championship”.
