Great result, but just out of interest, when was the last time we played an away game at any level, in the official club colours of red and white stripes? We consistently play in Day-glo yellow in the first team and I see we played in Carlisle blue in this game for no obvious reason.

Is it really the point of this though that we take players on loan from the PL and then play them in our U23s???

This is something that irritates me too. Its something that all teams do these days so not just a dig at us, but as far as I'm concerned our colours are red and white stripes and we should proudly wear those colours unless there's a clash, which as you rightly say there often isn't.

Funnily enough I checked it out on the Saturday highlights programmes and although you are right, most teams do it, however, it seems totally default with us....Playing away, pack anything but the traditional red and white.

I get the impression that Tisdale would prefer the away kit in the home matches, as well as every away fixture. He's so in love with day-glo, he could be living in the 60's.

This seems a good result as the Hull team play together every week in the reserves league (some fancy name of professional development league or similar) - is this not something we could aspire to? I see Crewe are in the Northern league and Colchester in the southern league of this, one step down from the premier league reserve leagues.
