It's great to see we are finally learning the tricks that every other team use against us ?

Under guidance to referees for interpretation of the Laws of the Game you have no obligation to get out of the way of an opponent. p122 of my copy:

Impeding the progress of an opponent

Impeding the progress of an opponent means moving into the path of the
opponent to obstruct, block, slow down or force a change of direction by an
opponent when the ball is not within playing distance of either player.

All players have a right to their position on the field of play, being in the way of
an opponent is not the same as moving into the way of an opponent.

In this case I would say Reid had the right of his position and the goalkeeper was hopelessly out of position. No foul.

    p124 of the latest version.

    https://www.fifa.com/mm/Document/Foo...EN_Neutral.pdf

I recommend all Exewebbers to download and read these, it's clear from various threads that many fans (and many referees...) do not know / understand important aspects of the rules as written (especially re. handball, to my continuing exasperation).
