Yes, he was the L2 Supporter of the Year, as was our own Greg a couple of years back and the venerable NLM before him. The latter also picked up the overall award.

We may not win much on the pitch but boy do we have great supporters!

A reminder that the next meeting of the Senior Reds will take place on Tuesday 1st May, when our guest speaker will be Jamie Vittles. The session will take place in the RGB Suite, 12pm for a 12.30pm start. Jamie will be giving an insight into the amazing world of the City Community Trust, formerly known as Football in the Community, from it's humble beginnings to the large charitable organisation employing more than 100 full and part time staff around Devon that it is today.

Forthcoming meetings: We have our first two meetings of the new season in place.

We kick off on Thursday 9th August, when our guest speaker will be Julian Tagg. It’ll be in the Trust Suite, 1.30pm for a 2pm start. Julian will be talking for an hour or so about a range of Grecian related topics.

On Thursday 13th September, we welcome Norman Shiel as our guest. This meeting will take place in the Centre Spot, 1.30pm for a 2pm start. Norman is well known for his memories and memorabilia, and will be bringing a few items with him. You can expect some Exeter City FC talk, with a lot more on football in general.

Membership is still only 5 for the whole year.

    All are welcome.

    Re: Senior Reds

A very interesting talk given by Julian Tagg.Starting from when he was first involved with the football club as a boy right through to present day.The stories he could tell,I’m sure we could have been there all evening.

A good insight into the youth policy,City Community Trust, various managers, the dark days etc..Fascinating stuff..

I did not realise that the reason for the ticket price being what it was for the FAC replay against MU(the same as a Conference game) was the club had to take tickets up in the event of a replay as per FA rules (which pre match, seemed fantasy)

Loved the story about the Sheriff(High Court enforcements officer) who called around after The Trust took over the club to take the floodlights away. ..

Also good to meet Iscalad for the first time..

Good to meet you as well.

Also had a tour of the new dressing rooms, which was very interesting.

    Re: Senior Reds

Just an update on our player sponsorship. The Senior Reds sponsor an U16's player and have done for the past 2 seasons. We have sponsored Jordan Dyer and last season Lewis Wilson. Both are now part of the U18's team.

This season we are sponsoring Max Clark. Max is a left back / left wing back who has a younger brother in the Academy Under 14 side. Arran Pugh says that Max is a very good young player, and was a substitute for the U18's against Bournemouth.

    Re: Senior Reds

The next meeting of the Senior Reds will take place on Thursday 13th September, when we'll be delighted to welcome Norman Shiel as our guest speaker.

Norman is well known in Exeter, and indeed nationwide, as an authority on football memorabilia, and will be bringing some items with him, as well as a host of memories. A keen Grecian supporter, and indeed a member of the Senior Reds, Norman openly admits that he also follows a team that play in green and white - that team being Blyth Spartans. That's no surprise, as Norman originates from Blyth.

The meeting will take place in the Centre Spot. 1.30pm for a 2pm start. It should be a fascinating afternoon, covering both Exeter City and the world of football in general, so please come along and join us if you can. New members welcome.
