As you put it, Reid is still a young man, and as such should be in far better physical appearance than he looks. I was one of the first to say he should start games, instead of being a bench supersub when we're in the *****. It worked quite well for a couple of games, but I think his obvious lack of fitness, probably largely due to his weight is getting to him now. I'm surprised that with Tisdales PE background he doesnt insist Reid sorts himself out in that department! I see in Reids own article that Reids cutting back on the food he eats, but the examples he cites wont get his waistsize down in a hurry.

I think we're making far too much of this.

Reid is definitely thinner and fitter than last season (there were several posters saying that on the Reuben Reid is a Grecian thread)
He's also put in a fair shift over a few games this season.

We just need to be winning again so he's not tempted by comfort snacks after a defeat

reid is miles fitter than last season but i'll reserve conclusive judgement on stockley reid as a partnership until after a few games, however short term observations ,from tuesday stockley wins almost everything in the air and if he deliveres to reids feet, alls good, however if its not to feet reid aint got that acceleration over 2 /3 yards to get there b4 a defender. And if its a long ball/cross they tend to instinctively head for the same space, so i'de say they've got their work cut out to make the partnership work. but we'll see.

Yeah, they linked up well today. The more they play together the better understanding they'll have. I think Reid has been off form the last two games though. He has missed some chances you'd expect him to score.

Congrats then to him who saw the possibility that many others didn't.
