Tisdale's been linked with just about every vacant managers job for the last ten years. This is just another example!

Birmingham still think they're a big club and in terms of support, at least, they are. Their fans didn't have patience with Harry Redknapp so this is a total mismatch and I'm sure both parties would recognise that.

He could have them top of the league within 2 months and still get the sack. Rowett was building a solid and progressive side and got the sack. Redknapp was high profile and allowed to sign loads of players before getting the sack with no time to bed them in.

Tisdale won't go to Birmingham because he's a sensible bloke and doesn't want to be out of work within 3 months of joining. That's what happens when you have owners with loads of money and no footballing sense. That's without even mentioning Gianfranco Zola.

At last, some proper tittle tattle to thrash out. It seems ages since Tis was linked with an improbable position. Great stuff.

I think bookmakers try to get as many names on the list of candidates as possible. This led to the unfortunate consequence recently of one bookie offering odds on someone who had already died.

Ehiogu could have done a better job than Zola at Brum even now.

Not sure Tisdale is even interested in another job

He'll do this one until he doesn't want to anymore and will then go into business

Maybe 5-7 years ago when his stock was highest he might have had a crack at a higher level role but even then he didn't seem tooo bothered

He's here for life - and when he shuffle's off his mortal coil his ashes are earmarked for the big bank goal.
