Keith Curle squirming refers to Tis

Referring to criticisms he is receiving and to Tis' situation early last season. Fair comment, or disrespectful to fans of both clubs?
"Everyone was calling for the manager’s head, everybody was shouting and screaming, saying he was this and he was that, the team are this and the team are that. The players aren’t this and aren’t that.
The best thing you can do - the only way you can shut them up – ....".

Fair criticism at the time from the fans. They got scared their club was going to sink back into the doldrums.
They were wrong however.
I also think it's a fair comment from Keith Curle. He's trying to buy some time.

If Tisdale is so good, why is he still at Exeter. Good managers move on, they go and try and be the best.

Why? Have you considered he may have a job that gives him satisfaction.

The point of this thread is the way Curle has responded to the pressure and how he has referred to his fans and our fans with the screaming and shouting reference etc. The point of this thread is not to go over the pros or cons about Tisdale, which is covered on various other threads.

I would have thought the word you were looking for was security. Yes it is brilliant to be riding on a high but it wasn't always the case as our struggles in previous seasons have proved. It would serve no purpose to try and airbrush away the erratic and stultifying form that had some fans threatening to walk away while knowledgeable exewebbers resorted to downloading some pretty dismal and accurate data that highlighted our frailties.

We're going well and long may it continue.

Since losing top scorer Charlie Wyke to Bradford last January Carlise have been in free fall!!!
