In the first week the young Grecians won 2-0.

Comfortable win for the u18s in Holland and a hat-trick for Brendon Parsons

Some pictures from the first week, apparently the Exeter youth cycled to their training!

Looks like the U18s have a delayed start to their season in the EFL Youth Alliance due to their foreign travels, and their first league fixture is on Saturday 19th August at home (C&F) to Swindon Town.

whilst we shouldn't read too much into these results,it is encouraging that ECFC was the onlyEnglish side (out of six) to beat a Dutch side in the first week

A sure-fire way to lose your young talent early. Kids that young don't need to be playing competitive football such as that, in my view.

Agreed. Although to be fair, the brief report I read said it was a low sided match and they made no reference to the score. At that age, it should be all about fun and play.

Yeah but it isn't - it's about scouts and ambitious parents unfortunately.

Having taken a 2-0 lead against Swindon on Saturday, they managed to lose out in the last 30 minutes and Swindon ran out 3-2 winners.
