Would be interesting to know who hasn't been offered a contract and therefore will be released.

Interesting that they play in positions where, if they continue to develop, they will be more valuable than if they were a full-back or a goalkeeper.

Well done all three of them.
With regard to Hant's question; I read it that there's a possibility of more of the U18 being offered pro contracts (probably at the end of the official season) if they continue to develop.

Mitch Thomas goes on loan to Barnstaple, and Sam Haynes has extended his loan with the Club.

that's how i read it too; these players normally get offered contracts toward the end of the season. These three (plus Jack Sparkes)are offered pro contracts early;plenty of time for others to make it too, particularly those born toward the end of the school year.

Some of the under 18s are already on scholarship terms. The four already offered pro deals were all second year scholars. I believe that there are four more first year scholars that have another year to go before the end of their deals.

Four scholarship deals have been offered, including one we've signed from Burnley

Good luck too all of them, lets hope they ultimately get professional deals with us.
Love to know how we came to sign the youngster from Burnley & what convinced him to try his luck with City.

The final part of the U18s season is the merit table and we're in the top 1. Following on from a 4-0 win over Gillingham last week, the U18 beat Luton 1-0.

Merit Table 1 is made up of the following teams:-

Exeter City
MK Dons
Gillingham
Oxford United
Bournemouth
Portsmouth
Luton
Stevenage
Bristol Rovers
Swindon
Cambridge United
Southend

Note the absent of the Argyle U18s from the top flight.:)
