    Transworld Sport, etc.

Transworld Sport was great but a complete lottery. Mainstream German football highlights sandwiched between the Guatemalan National Lawnmower Racing Championship and the Scandinavian Goat Herding knock out rounds.

Please do AP, my team are the West Coast Eagles, who were very much the newbies when I lived in Perth in 1991-2.

Reached the grand final that season but lost to Hawthorn - but were the first non-Melbourne team to win the Premiership the following year, I think.

I have never lived in Australia, but have played Aussie Rules in a training match against a team from Lugano - our GAA team showed them the joys of hurling and GAA, and they in turn showed us how to lose heavily at Aussie rules. Great fun to play, especially if you're into your GAA / Rugby League and have therefore grasped the concept of either going in 100%, or not going in at all... Seems to be plenty of opportunity to play in the UK - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Austra...ball_in_Europe
