Just booked train tickets. Some good prices on offer from Virgin Trains, though that doesn't help those travelling from the South West!

In RaWZ we trust....Amen.
£177 return...Probably get that down to £145 with a ticket split...The problem is a return on the 1710 off Carlisle..Very tight, plus a change a Wolverhampton(7mins) for a train to New St to pick up the 2012.

Apparently it's international weekend. They wouldn't move this game so it'd be covered by Sky, would they? Plenty of goals last season, in the four games so is a potential.

Apparently we should know which TV games from 7th October that will be shown by 25th August.

The October games haven't been announced as expected. Perhaps I should make a flexible booking before the prices increase too much.

It's not on the Tele! They're showing Barnet versus Coventry instead. Phew.

Strange choice, as usual.

I wonder if they are regretting not scheduling the top of the table clash this weekend??

Visited for the play-offs, but forgot just how far Brunton Park is from most or England. From SJP, it's the second-longest away trip in English football this season at 347 miles (353 miles for Newcastle v Bournemouth), an honour shared with Crawley v Carlisle.

We're north of the Humber/Mersey line and it's still the best part of three hours - now one of our 'local' matches. Still, tickets on the mantlepiece and best of logistical luck to all travelling from much further afield.
