Could we still win the group? I can't remember how many points are possible from one game. If we could then we would be covered by ball number 4 tomorrow, if we can finish runners-up then we'd be ball number 12.

Scroll down for Group D Southern table https://www.efl.com/clubs-and-compet...trophy/tables/

We can't win the group. Now, one thing I don't know is how places are decided, if it's by GD or, like with the Champions League and whatnot, whether it's by head to head. If the former, we can still qualify as runners-up if we win and Yeovil win. If the latter, we're out no matter what.

The EFL will underwrite any group stage game, if the Club can prove they actively promoted the game.

    But the rules also say

The Home Club will bear any losses incurred in the hosting of any Match. The League shall however be empowered to reimburse (out of the Competition Pool) EFL Clubs for losses incurred in hosting Competition Matches, at its absolute discretion.

I wouldn't rule it out. At an extra point per penalty shoot-out win, if they gave us enough shoot outs, anything is possible.*

    * Except Shaun Harvey taking responsibility for this farce and resigning.

And it turns out that one of the 7 was a Leeds fan...

In the unlikely event we manage to finish second we would be away to mk Dons in the next round.
