Thought it useful to have a thread that details current work.

From Twitter, the Cub's official account
Work is well underway with prep for the new changing rooms under @IPOfficeLtd Main Stand thanks to grounds staff and volunteers #ECFC

The seats and the front of the stand are starting to really show their age now aren't they?

Good to see progress being made already, not going to be huge changing rooms under there though by the looks of it.

It's called sun deterioration and can easily be rectified by changing the seat and/or back, which has been done in other parts of the stand.

If there was another photos taken looking behind where the 2nd one was taken, you would see that there is a larger area that will also be part of the changing rooms. The angle of the photo doesn't do justice to the actual size available. The hard standing, is a bout the size of a Portacabin and is what was the Groundsmen's rest room and Clive's office. So you can get an idea as to the area available for he whole project.

The current ones are tiny. These can't possibly be any smaller.

They aren't. They will be bigger, much more efficient and easy to access. The photos only show a part of the final area being utilised. Don't forget that the officials' accommodation also has to be provided for.

The current ones were definitely built for an era before substitutes!

If i had to agree with you we would both be wrong
Are there going to be any of the Exeter City tiles used again ? Pretty sure there were some hanging around a few years ago during a work party.

Thinking about it maybe like the live wires they have been gotten rid of.

Move around the seats use the faded white ones at the front and bright ones at the back to form red and white stripes.
