Thread: General Election - 8thJune

    Re: General Election - 8thJune

I'm not sure about housing. Buying is in a terrible state, and I don't think I know a single friend who was able to buy without the help of their parents. Things being what they are (much bigger/longer mortgages, later retirement age, worse pensions) my generation is unlikely to be able to do the same for our children.

So part of me thinks the "owning your own home" horse has bolted, therefore we should concentrate on sorting out the rental market. Something more like the continent, where they have longer term rentals with an upfront price for the whole term. It's not ideal, but it at least removes the bother of having to pay to renew a lease on which nothing has changed every year, not to mention having to worry about being asked to move out or the price being increased.

If I self identify as female otherkin, can I go on the all women's list?

Probably not, because the system is biased towards humans. But I'm sure if you campaigned hard you'd get an all-otherkin shortlist.

Plus you might get discounted entry to a rally.

She has now quit. No apology for her bats*** crazy comments, oh no, it's all the Daily Mail's fault.

Yes. I shall be contacting Jeremy Corbyn to offer my services as an otherkin advisory.

Way ahead of you. I was doing that before it was cool.

With regards to housing - when you have someone like Emily Thornberry enjoying the fruits of buy-to-let presumably with the approval of King Jezza, you know there is little hope.
