Am I the only Exewebber yet to have seen one of these?

I am beginning to believe that the whole thing is just a rumour.

I noticed that i had one on Saturday and was left feeling seriously underwhelmed by it. For all of the razzmatazz, fanfares and promises of hidden levels it was a major letdown.

I think i was just disappointed that i didn't even realise i had one. I want something that stands out from the crowd, not something that just blends into the background. This 12 side thing is nonsense - given its size it might as well be round.

The Royal Mint should take a good, hard look at themselves.

I rather liked the subtlety of the 12 sides; smoother and more classy than the good old threepenny bit. It was very shiny too. As it was part of my Grand National winnings I may have been a bit carried away mind.

So it is not a rumour. My Grand National winnings (well third place, each way) were in the form of a tenner, so that is where I missed out.

Maybe after two weeks the best tactic is to actively avoid the new coins and then one of them will come to me. I just need to work out how to avoid money.
