Being in Cumbria, this is a definite clap clap from me. Who's making the trip up from Exeter?

Although it's a long trip in terms of mileage, it's an easy trip (M5/M6).

Other stuff booked, so no clap from me.

Been there, done that, will only go again if there is something riding on it. Playing on the Sunday too, so deffo no clap.

Because I'm in Newcastle that weekend. Clep Clep.

I will be on the road by 0700 for the drive to Cumbria....

By a "remarkable coincidence!" I have a training course to attend at Preston on 15th, some work I'm sure I can find to do oop-Norf on the Friday and a job to get to up in Jockland for the Monday, so in the interests of the environment and my carbon footprint (esp since my van is a VW ) I'll bravely sacrifice YET ANOTHER weekend (that happens to coincide with a Carlisle away-day) in the loyal service of my employer.

So the Warwick Rd Prem Inn and Toby Carvery would appear to be beckoning. YAY!!!

Train booked and will be arriving there for half 12. Looking forward to it.

Really need to reel in my spending and this wouldn't be a cheap trip so will have to pass.....
