Singing in the rain...
Here we go then for the penultimate home game of the season.

Hoping for a good performance and 3 points - not to mention also other teams doing us a favour to keep our very slim play off hopes alive! UTC [G]

A return to winning ways please. Keep the end of season interesting and hinder Southend's push for an automatic promotion place. Would like to see Tom start.

Chilly overnight, and currently 8c, but mitigated by a strong (force 4) East South Easterly breeze that makes it feel appreciably cooler than eight. On the other hand there's 100% blue sky with intermittent high level cloud cover. There was a shower late yesterday afternoon which was only shown as a trace in the rain gauge. I thinks it will be a cool afternoon for watching football, the sprinklers will undoubtedly be on, and the pitch looks in good nick considering that we're approaching the end of the season. I just hope that it's the footballing Exeter City side that turn up for the match. Further update around 13:00.

It's 12c, but the cold breeze blowing at force 4 and veering from ESE round to east hasn't abated, so although it looks sunny it's cold out of direct sunlight. However, the sun is strong and apparently UV is 4-5*. No sign of any rain, or even showers with only occasional high cloud to cover the sunshine. Fine day for a game- especially against a team in an automatic promotion place at the moment. Hop itty bother to turn in the sort of performance that we've sporadically at home during this season.
* I'm messing around with a new bit of kit, but might need to do some recalibration. Anyway some sun blocker for sensitive skin might be advisable for the big bank.

4 strikers on the bench, certainly seems like an interesting line up.

That's a really interesting line-up! Lots of surprises. Let's see what happens.
