They have to avoid defeat to Solihull on Saturday (ideally win but definitely not lose) otherwise they'll need a miracle to catch Hartlepool and Solihull with Barrow also having 3 games in hand, one of which you would think they might pick up a win.

Lose on Saturday and i'm 100% sure that will be that.

We did do one for them, Debt repaid me thinks.

Would another game with the chipnickers actually do anything for the club now ? Apart from possibly paying some outstanding bills I don't think anything will help.

Defeat to Dover today and two of their key men sent off meaning suspensions. They have 5 games left and need to win at least 4 to have a chance. I think it's now safe to assume that they are to be in the National League South next season.

Chester went down today, the first of the four.

A team we used to play quite regularly.

In the late 60s Torquay were a bit of a glamour club, with several ex West Ham stalwarts, Robin Stubbs, Jim Fryatt and others. Nearly gained promotion to the 2nd tier. i think it's a great pity
they are in this dire situation and loved those local derbies between the two sides.

Kitchener, Mitchener, good players and so sorry that they can't do it. Those trips to Plainmoor were great occasions.

Kitchener? Mitchener? Can you elaborate, Sturtz?

If and when Torquay go down I hope we're looking at Luke Young - he's a decent midfielder who's only 25 and with over 200 appearances for Argyle & Torquay and being from ivybridge a local lad too.

He certainly has talent. Could be a decent gamble though if getting him for pretty much nothing.
