Glad to see England have finally replaced Cook in the ODI format....it's 12 months over due.

First thing to do for Morgan ? get KP back involved.

Hales , Ali , Taylor , KP , Root , Morgan , Butler , Woakes , Tremlett , Broad , Anderson

With Finn , Bopara , Ballance & Rashid as the 4 other squad players.

FIGJAM won't be playing for England again. He has well and truly burnt his bridges. In fact, I'd be slightly surprised to see him play in England again.

He should IMO be playing for England

Why ? Because simply he's still the best bat we've got

Been watching him in the BBL ? He's class pure class still

When you look at the current ODI team he would walk in there

Also Morgan as skipper ? He's lucky to have a place after his recent form he's hardly scored a run for 12 months let alone being skipper

Just finished reading KP's autobiography

Fair to say that he's a confident bloke

But I don't actually think he's really done much wrong apart from standing up and speaking out

Matt Prior and KP won't be going for a beer anytime soon - fair to say KP isn't Priors biggest fan

As regards FIGJAM he is probably a shoo in on ability but for me his countish behaviour makes him a very firm nay.

I agree with you on Morgan. A lot of one day specialist players and most commentators are saying its a good appointment but on the back of his recent form it looks a risky pick.

I was given FIGJAM's autobiography for Christmas - I'll give it a read but I suspect I'll need to find an alternative use for it in the "smallest room".

Agree re: Morgan as Skip, incidentally. Cook was left out on the basis of current form, yet his was better than Morgan's. And now with Cook out, they go for something of an identikit ODI player in Bell to open. Big risk.
