Begs the question just who has been counting their chickens in Jersey ? And of course, just why do chickens habitually end up crossing the road ?

"Take off, then turn left. Left! No, not right, left!"

My Mum had something like this happen to her, although at least she landed in the right country - flying back from Jo'burg with Iberia, the flight was supposed to land in Madrid where she would catch her connecting flight.

Imagine her panic when the captain spoke as they were coming in to land to say they were approaching Barcelona. The other passengers weren't amused either.

    https://www.theguardian.com/educatio...arent-protests

More protests from the predominantly muslim community over Birmingham schools equality education and LGBT issues. Well this is a difficult one to pick apart. On the one hand the muslim community are protesting that they do not want their children to be exposed to the messages that the 'No Outsiders' programme brings while the school struggles to try to educate a future generation about LGBT rights. My assumption is (I have not read the Quran) that the protesters see a conflict between these messages and the messages they follow in their holy scriptures. Should the school ride roughshod over their rights? Indeed, how far does a schools rights to educate go before it infringes on parental rights to bring a child up in the way they wish? Protesters at a rally outside the Parkfield school have branded the lessons 'toxic aggressive indoctrination and incompatible with the teachings of Islam. So, do we allow the muslim community the right to its religious beliefs or should Islam be secondary to the laws of this country. Either way, some fingers will get burned

I'm looking forward to cycling from Exeter to Exmouth at some time without having to go on the road.

That'll only get used for about 3-4 months of the year by fairweather cyclists and then extra money spent on its upkeep.
On that note I found it quite funny 3 cyclists getting on the train at Exmouth who not only didn't pay extra for taking up more room on an already crowded train but overhearing them trying to decide if they were going to cycle back to Exmouth or catch the train back later in the day !
Whats the point in having what looked like some very expensive bike's to not actually use them ?
