Not sure if this should be here or on TWoWS but an absolute gem just posted on Pizzpoti by someone styling themselves as "Widdeboy"
Forget the academy, it is obviously a poor investment, and more importantly diverts money from the first team, lets get a decent first team, start doing well and then IF we can afford, it start with a youth programme. We delude ourselves if we think a youth policy is the answer to the problems we have, it is a luxury we cannot afford.
Obviously "Sillyboy" has not been following the events at ECFC that have produced a profitable and continuing prolific financial production line of new talent.

Long may his views prevail ... hopefully they'll follow in the footsteps of the Turkeys and the Glover's who also bought into that (short term) "business plan".

The extent of the cluelessness down the A38 never ceases to amaze.

This tweet from Oxford United earlier this morning

This weekend saw the coronation of King Maha Vajiralongkorn of Thailand. The staff and players at Oxford United stand in unity & reverence with our chairman Sumrith Thanakarnjanasuth and the people of Thailand to mark this event. Long live the King of Thailand ทรงพระเจริญ

In criticising Sadiq Khan's lack of tree planting as per his manifesto commitment, the Conservative group on the London Assembly wheeled out assembly member Tony Arbour to talk about it.

(As an aside, I know and have been out campaigning with Tony and he's a lovely bloke.)

Glancing at the travel section in today's paper, I see there is a Grand Burstin Hotel in Kent.
