Never done this before
My neighbour being "helpful" by putting my bin out when i wasn't going to bother as there was hardly anything in it. This now puts the pressure on me to bring them both in.
Hide them both, then tell your neighbour they've been stolen and it's all their fault (y)

Make sure you try your best to catch instead of kill with poison !

Living near a river we had a rat get in the house rang someone who left trays all over the place ..... 2 days later no more scratching in the attic but left us with the most horrible smell as it had died in a place we couldn't get at.

Stalked out of both Costa and McDonald's here at Swindon's Greenbridge Retail Park because my party couldn't get a seat. While you expect it to be busy what half term and Friday shoppers, you don't really want to see a solitary individual and his laptop occupying a table that seats four. Costa had three of the sphincters while McDonald's had the one.

Half-term. This increases the danger of a child-operated supermarket trolley adding to the scar tissue I already have on the backs of my legs.

mouse scenario
Reminds me of the time I bought one of those humane traps and and caught the mouse first time of asking. Couldn't bring myself to kill it, so took it for an early-morning drive and released it in a suitable spot.

The clue is in the name...HUMANE trap, you’re not supposed to kill the mouse! Glad you didn’t though. Hats off to you. (y) :)
