I get a nice combination of bindweed alongside brambles with stems the size of ships' ropes. It's never ending.

Furthermore, the large wisteria that covers the front of the house has dropped nearly all its blossom/leaves today.

I bleddy hate gardening too, I have no idea how people can find it enjoyable.

Gardening is mainly a chore. The white trumpet shaped flowers on the bindweed are quite attractive. Fortunately the version we get can be pulled out reasonably easily. Don’t get me started on feckin’ brambles or stinging nettles.

A good shout. Soup, beer, tea no doubt but he won’t be into cheese wrapped in nettles

Presumably you didn't decimate the wildlife in the pond whilst standing in it. Love ponds, me.

People who say the word ‘literally’ when they mean ‘almost’.

“I literally died”, “I literally fell of my chair”, etc.
