Gary Marshall. Loved the fact that he looked like the doctor in Young Doctors (big at the time) and that he ran in a straight line until he ran out of pitch. However, he could hit a ball!
How do I claim my £10 back from I follow? I paid to watch football but I’m still waiting. 2 poor teams and a weak referee. At least we will get some better players back into our squad post COVID and injuries. I’d hate to be a Barrow fan.
Seems like the right profile for the middle of our park. Strong, athletic and able to get around the pitch. Experienced at a higher level as well. FWIW I think this looks like a good signing.
Two huge signings. Shows how good we are for developing youth and shows the premier league boys that they can’t always get what they want. Presumably there will be a clause in the contracts that we will sell them if an offer comes in above a certain figure. Probably the best signings of this window.
A decent player who seems to have lost his way. Interesting that KMT talks about making the point to him that he needs to work hard. He also mentions that training today was hard. With the right attitude he could be a good signing, but depends whether he’s keen to put a shift in.
Reduced wage budget, lots of youngsters, no money through the turnstiles and yet we are still pushing for the playoffs. I don’t consider that a poor season for KMT. Fan expectations are very high, although I do appreciate that we have had some pretty ugly matches this season, but I for one think...
Need Pager on for Nige, and push Sparkes onto the left wing. We look lopsided and have no out ball down the left. Go 4-4-1-1. Barrow really are sh1t. Won’t be disappointed if there visit to league 2 is short lived. Awful pitch, long journey and hoofball. Need to get back into this ASAP.
I do like Jokull, but is he really any better than big Jonny? Better communicator but lacks experience, struggles to kick and his positioning can be questionable.
Thought we huffed and puffed but they gave us a physical lesson. Lots of late stepping on toes, nudges in the back and top shithousery. They stopped us progressing by hook or by crook and the ref gave many free kicks, but never got his book out. Ref was poor and summed it up when he pulled out...

When he plays with McArdle he gets to play as the left hand centre back of the pair. He looks far more comfortable here. With Parkes he plays on the right and looks less comfortable.
Back to winning ways today. Its too early for us to drop away. We all know City need to put us through the ringer first, so a win to build that hope, before ....
The only positive is that Rory McArdle looked much better. Won lots of challenges and didn’t give the ball away as much. Just as well, as we are going to need him over the next three games.
