    Tagg's Trust AGM speech - 3 option

No, I've just checked this out Rosencrantz and it's not. To get to this site go 100yds past the entrance to the training ground then turn left. Then turn right in another 100yds. I have just taken this journey on google maps. The presence of an hotel there could very well help our potential...

It's interesting to note in this article that the Wimbledon Trust has raised £20M towards this project. Our Trust has raised £2m? over a far greater timespan. I don't know how Wimbledon have achieved this but our Trust should certainly be asking questions of them to see if we could do the same.

DCC wanted to make the gift to the club but the only way that it could legally be done was to gift it to a charitable organisation attached to the Club. Then we could have provided FITC with alternative accommodation. This would have to be provided in any new stadium.

It wasn't aimed at you Mike . Any H is the one always making adverse comment.

I'm sure that there was provision in the agreement with DCC that the Club could utilise the area for its own benefit provided that suitable alternative accommodation was given to them.

Yes I do know but I'm fed up with pointless points scoring on this site so I'll keep that information to myself.

I'd like to turn that around Olds and say why wouldn't they? Other than getting an annual rent it's of no practical use to them. They can't use it for housing themselves because they would have to provide us with an alternative stadium if they failed to renew the lease. In recent years Councils...

Many organisations make a lot of money out of change of use. However it's a gamble by them when they initially buy the land that the change of use would happen. I well remember when St. James Park was sold to Beezer Homes. Part of the deal was that we would try and persuade the Council to grant...

We, or more likely a developer would apply for change of use in a planning application. The enhanced value of that change of use ( plus the enhanced value from bringing the whole site together by buying the St. James Centre) would create the financing for the new stadium.

There is no proposal from us to sell SSP. There is no planning application for change of use. Therefore the land would be valued as a sports ground.

It cost the Council £750,000 and that valuation was arrived at by with District Valuer. I was involved with the buy back from Beezer Homes. I would expect us to negotiate based on that figure

Perhaps solar panels incorporated into the roof design would help. I have just checked my own solar installation and to date I have avoided 19,027 lb of CO2 from a domestic roof. How much from a stadium roof?

I believe the club currently has the resources to finance the deal. Or it could do it from future transfer dealings.

With regard to option 3, there are now no sites available for this purpose within the City boundaries. The Drivers Jonas Report initially identified about 12 sites suitable for a stadium but that was produced 12 years ago. Most of those sites have now been used for other purposes but the...

    Trust Elections 2019

Absolutely spot on Egg. I remember having a similar conversation with Neil le Milliere many moons ago. Neil thought that the official club site would be the first point of call for any City fan but I thought it was Exeweb. Steve Morris then checked the official number of hits on both sites and...

    Lincoln Job

I would assume that Matt Taylor is on a contract not too dissimilar to Tisdale's last one, i.e. that he is very well paid as a Division Two manager, particularly if performance elements are built into that contract. He is also well aware that the Trust is not in the habit of sacking managers...
