Re: Reuben Reid is a Grecian

Re: Reuben Reid is a Grecian

This was the EFL Trophy rather than the EFL Cup, Reid played (and scored) against Chelsea, can't remember if he played against Yeovil or the GAWS.

Re: Reuben Reid is a Grecian

I rather suspect Larry was talking about arguably England's greatest ever all-rounder, whom every English player who could hold both a bat and a ball was called "The new..." before Flintoff came...

Re: Reuben Reid is a Grecian

We're currently larger than Newport, Cambridge and, surprisingly, Grimsby.

Re: Reuben Reid is a Grecian

Knees (and I speak from painful personal experience!) need to be managed carefully once they go.

As long as he doesn't train too hard on it and keeps doing the right things in terms of maintaining...

Re: Reuben Reid is a Grecian

Well, apart from someone who began to feature semi-regularly at RB last season plus someone who is both a CB and a RB, and would likely have played almost exclusively at RB had we had any fit CBs.

Re: Reuben Reid is a Grecian

He has - but the Orient manager last week said he'd quit to join Northampton. Which was something of a head scratcher (considering also some of the wage figures bandied around about his pay at...

Re: Reuben Reid is a Grecian

It won't, no - Cox was released by Leyton Orient after the transfer window closed, so he wouldn't be able to play for a new club* until after the window opens again, whereas Reid was a free agent...

Re: Reuben Reid is a Grecian

If he was closer to perfect he wouldn't be in League 2.

Re: Reuben Reid is a Grecian

Welcome aboard Reuben - for a long time I hated your guts, obviously, but now you're in the right colours.

I know there are some who'd balk at us signing players who'd worn the snotty shirt, but...
