Hopefully this bloke Oates is suitable, which will allow cover for Sweeney if he is injured or needs to switch to centre back to cover someone else.

    I don't think it's likely either Spoonz, but I wouldn't rule it out. Maybe I'm just a born worrier..(worry)

Well, he might find that he has more budget remaining than he expected, for example. He didn't sign JMT and Harley at the same time. Are you Hants in disguise?

If every manager would love to sign Stockley that supports my opinion that Tisdale would love to sign him.

I'm sure Tisdale would love to sign Stockley and it's a bit of a worry that Stockley might be tempted to go to MKD or at least be unsettled.

Yep. Don't think there's any problem about this - still plenty of time to sign up new players.

It just depends on the personal circumstances and tastes of the player. Not everyone wants to live in a big city and not every player wants to go to a nightclub whenever he has the chance.

Here's a rumor for you..Edwards to come back to City on loan. Not original, but it could happen : he's not ready for WBA's first team yet IMO

Usually a new thread in the name of the new signing is started, rather than being discussed on this thread. However, also as usual, threads get derailed, of wshich many of us are guilty as charged.

Yes, Matt T rated him highly. I think he's in his mid-thirties but if you're thinking he might be joining City then you might be right.

Since salaries saved on outgoing players are probably similar to

Hopefully we can integrate 2-3 players from the youth teams to give a balance to the average age of the team.
But I wouldn't say 29-32 years of age is concerning : players look after themselves...

Seems like an excellent signing for a Div 2 club. Very happy with this one. I agree he could be captain material.
