A man of culture in charge this year: the Stroudmeister.

No doubt he will be smiling or (rofl) as he watches us fanny around while he strokes his merkin, sips his Rooibos, bites daintily into a Tartex canapé and listens to a bit of the old Ludwig Van. :)

I expect a quiz marked by culture this year rather than overloaded by pub questions, so beloved of certain quizmaters of yore.

Swanny is the 2/1 favourite in early prices.

So far, attempts to break into Stroudy's stock of pictures have been thwarted.

It goes well with the rest of Stroudy's predilections. :)

You go me on the alarm clock
October is far too soon to be talking about advent :x

I predict Scott Golbourne to feature prominently.

How many shopping days to Christmas?

The clocks haven't even changed yet.

Au contraire. It is later than you think and never too soon to think about the ACQ. In fact this thread is late compared with some earlier years and the odd warm up question sometimes requires several weeks to answer.

Potentially every answer could be Scott Golbourne. Some would say should be.

I suppose it depends on just how odd the warm up question is...

Potentially every answer could be Scott Golbourne. Some would say should be.
... although it seems we have answered it in advance this year (clap)

As opposed to what, exactly? (swear)

I'm #buzzin for this and have been in training since May.

I perdict that Stroudy will be using November to perfect his curve ball.

Simply a comment on our beloved new Quizmater. Not comparing with anyone at all in my OP.

That said, and now you mention it, larger lols beloved of a certain QM who shall be nameless do not point ineluctably to a man of culture. (boffin)
