I rarely post on here but tomorrow’s game will be somewhat poignant for me. For over 20 years I have stood next to ‘Gordon’, a man I got to know over the years and we stoood in the same place game after game.

This week I received the tragic news that at the tender age of 62 he passed away. I shall be in the same place thinking of him and shall be giving the boys an extra shout. If any Exewebber would like to also give an extra shout to the boys I am sure he will be smiling down and appreciate that.

I never did get to know his surname. It didn’t matter. He was part of the ECFC family.

Well said that man (y)

Funny how you see the same faces in the same places but rarely know their name.

On the left hand side of you were to look up from the pitch. So on the side of ‘the jungle.’ We stand at the end of the stand about 2/3 of the way up

And thank you for the kind words all. I am sure Gordon would very much appreciate it
