Not sure how it affects things but Yelverton are no longer involved in the student accommodation, the freehold appears to have been passed to GSA HSRE SJP Ltd who have links with the newly formed Student Accommodation Company (Exeter) as seen here :-

Haven't had time to check director's at company house, there may well be some crossover with Yelverton.
Maybe those of you with better knowledge than me of business ownership can explain?

Companies House lists three directors of the company Student HOUSING Company (Exeter) Ltd... None of whom appear as directors of Yelverton, or are known to me as having connection with the club.

The three directors have directorships of other similarly named companies across the UK

https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/10946879/filing-history

What evidence is there that the freehold has been transferred, or indeed that they are at all connected with this scheme?

Treating a first post with some caution... please confirm you are not a mischief maker or multi, Lucombe Oak

Will you accept certain residents of Old Tiverton Road receiving letters from Student Housing Company Exeter regarding access to the site?

Ok- Without knowing what the letters say, that indicates there may be involvement, but not that the freehold has passed. What do the letters say?

And what is the problem with Yelverton selling on the site to what appears to be a specialist student housing company if indeed they have, assuming no alteration to to agreed plans?

We should have no concerns about this provided they deliver the student accommodation in line with the planning consents and this doesn't impact the funding and timing of the ground redevelopment as promised. Also that they become and remain good neighbours of ECFC and the local residents.

More widely, it depends on what the arrangement is, surely? Are they the new freehold owners of the development, operational managers, contractors, agents, or what?

The Yelverton web site no longer has any mention of the SJP project.

In all fairness it may work to the club's benefit. if the original planning condition still stands that the accommodation can't be populated until the new stand is built GSA might have more clout and interest in keeping Yelverton on track with the stand.

Re: Update on the SJP works

No it's not suitable for this thread. This should be solely about the actual updates. Somewhere that City fans can dip in to and get quick updates on progress without having to trawl through the other stuff. Nice and simple, quick and easy. A thread that I can showcase to a wider audience (and have done so).
I for one would be happy for you to extract the off-topic posts and put them in a fresh thread called something like "student flats developer changed". But not to just delete them.
