Just watched the highlights, what a great performance! our goals were outstanding! I take it we're letting Mr Sinisalo off for his error of judgement for their second; although I suspect Ian H will probably say he had no chance!
Pete, just out of interest, who is your favourite City keeper? I would love a bit reasoning alongside the name.

I should add, for me it’s big Kev😁

He'll say George Hunter, for sure.

Agree with this but will we lose too many through the short term-ist transfer strategy and need to start again?
But in this game you could see part of the reason for the short-termist strategy - we were waiting for the next batch of young players to develop. Now, all of a sudden, it looks like we could have Sonny, Jake and Pedro ready to play a big part in the first team next season

Correct Ian, the best keeper we ever had in more modern times! (y)

I'm not sure everyone failed to see him sticking to his principles. Rather we felt that those principles weren't worth sticking to.

He was right, of course.
For me Caldwell being consistent and sticking to his beliefs throughout an eventful and traumatic season in the face of home fan hostility was the most impressive part. The actual detail of how he wanted us to set up was secondary, as long as he had his vision intact and the players and staff behind him then we had a chance.

..Nobody's going to have much faith in a leader that changes his or her mind every two weeks, nor should they.

Well I think we owe Gary an apology!

Yeah, he had no chance Pete............. of being allowed to get away with that one. Not quite sure what he was trying to do with that but whatever it was failed miserably.
