Craig Noone... Although not our player, didn't we have the opportunity to buy him for peanuts.

Jack Stacey was another one, didn't he want to stay but Tisdale decided the money was better spent elsewhere? (Pierce Sweeney)
It is a shame that when offered the opportunity to buy him, we didn't have two nuts to scrape together.

Hi all, just read an article in the echo regarding Jamie Reid down at Torquay, it seems Luton town are potentially looking to take him to the championship after scoring 29 last season and already netting 14 this season,

This article got me thinking about how many players we have let go (whether not good enough/plagued with injury’s) that have then gone on to higher and better things in the game??

If Jamie Reid does go then it again will mean our academy has produced another championship player.

Jamie Reid scored a load of goals last season in a league primarily consisting of part time clubs.

Just having a quick look at stats for this season, he's scored only twice I believe from open play against teams in the top 12. Over a third of his goals have been penalties.

Luton I believe are getting carried away.

Scored a lot of goals after we let him go in 1967........and we struggled in 1967-68.

But it wasn't, as he was going to sign for us when Luton came in, which is the problem with loan signings who you help to develop and then get nothing for at the end of the term
Yes, but we got good service from him, even though IIRC Tisdale decided to leave him out of the team quite often during the 2nd half of that season for some strange reason 🙄🙄🙄

Barry Corr was better than we knew, guess his disciplinary record went against him, always thought Manny Oyeleke deserved a better chance.
