There is no negotiation going on with the EU, Johnson has made no proposals to replace the backstop, and he has no plans for a deal of any kind. Yet still they trot out this fiction that negotiations are going on and will be undermined by MPs taking control of parliament. You cannot undermine negotiations that aren't happening
