Before he played for the Grecians Ronnie Jepson was charged with Manslaughter(not guilty) over the Hysel tragedy.
This held his career back for a few years whilst it was hanging over him until 1988/89.
It was mentioned when he signed for the Grecians by Bally,that Jepson was in the wrong place at the wrong time & had paid for it by his career stopping stone dead for that period.
Another comical celebration was Sean McCarthy at Plainmoor, celebrated his second goal with a standing somersault. Didn't get the height and landed on his face, hilarious!
