Pretty baseless speculation here, but Darren Sarll (new Yeovil manager) has said he needs to sign at least two players.
  1. A defensive midfielder
  2. A striker
Would anyone be averse to Tillson / Seymour / Jay heading to Huish Park get some minutes? Jay specifically I think could benefit from playing football.
I agree re Seymour and Jay. On Tillson I think he is entitled to be looking at staying in League Two rather than dropping into non league. In the last two seasons he has played 40 and 36 League Two games respectively. And last season both ECFC and Cheltenham did better in the half of the season he was with them than in the half of the season he wasn’t. So I think the person who might be averse to it is Tillson himself.

Jack Grimmer played as a trialist for Wycombe last night.

I’m not massively knowledgable of the youth player positions so bear with me. I think the squad is looking good myself, albeit needing a few more additions. MT has mentioned loans to plug gaps after the permanent signings are done. I think a RB and CF should be the remaining permanents if budget permits...

Edit: I know it’s a slow back 4. I’ve just put the players in rather than pick a line up

Updated slightly... Presumably we can recall the loanees in emergency so have included them. Also moved Sparkes to LB, Law inside and swapped Martin and Williams.

I have no idea.

But we have good midfield depth. RB cover/started needed. Any news on the ex-Wolves keeper on trial?

If it stays like this we better hope that Sweeney is on top form as he is going to get a lot of game time

Assuming it did , and I can’t believe Matt for one minute is not looking for competition for Sweeney , who is best suited as a stand in for that position at the club at the moment?

Matt rates Sweeney very highly as it was prove last season,
after bringing back Kane Wilson he still didn’t push PS off to
The bench.
Pretty sure Matt will bring in a loan player as cover.

Will Dean can play at RB but don’t think he’s good enough competition for Sweeney yet.

In general I quite like the look of our squad, my main issue is the lack of pace throughout the squad, this needs to be addressed imho.

Pretty sure Taylor said he likes the look of Archie Collins at right back so that might be a possibility. I feel like Jake Taylor is tenacious and athletic enough to do a decent job there too. Ideally we'd have a specialist though; preferably someone with a bit of pace who likes to hug the touchline when we're attacking, like Kane Wilson or Jack Stacey.
