Afternoon Everyone!
I have just started writing a new feature for the Trust Website called Trusted Talent giving a monthly update into what recipients of the Trust Young Player of the Year award are doing in their careers, be that playing or coaching at Exeter or further afield. I hope this is...
I'll be honest I didn't know DAB+ was a thing until your comment David. I think the appeal for the podcast format for us as a podcasting group was the lack of expectation in terms of a regular uploading schedule.
As much as it would be great for the Trust/Club to have a radio show (which is I...
Thank you for the feedback, duly noted!
We wanted to make the podcast something other than just "match day" content- as the club do that so excellently and wanted to give a spotlight to other areas of club/football community. This wasn't originally going to be our "launch" episode but it just...
Hmm thats a tricky one. The thing is in football salaries of players at this level and staff are often not discussed as they'll all be on different rates. Disclosing publicly what people are paid may make a rod for our own back as people may start asking for more money in order to be paid the...
This is not really something I know an awful lot about if I'm honest. To me loans suggest that the money would be paid back to the Trust. Yet I would see that the Trust is not a profit organisation in my mind as it supplies funds to the club and other areas. I would have to know more about this...
Sorry for the delayed reply! This was one of the questions that we were asked on the sheet of questions we were given by the Trust? I'm not sure if you have seen this? If not I'm more than happy to elaborate?

Just want to hop on here and say a massive thank you to everyone for all their questions. I believe the majority of the questions over on my thread have been answered by those we were asked to fill out on the trust website. I think the ideas you have all put forward about the election have been...
I do agree that the issue with sales will not be entirely solved under a trust model, but I think we have to look at ways of making money outside of Trust membership, another example would be using the space we have at SJP and the training ground as revenue streams for rental etc.
I agree with...
I do believe that the problems at hand are harder to solve than a simple quick fix. What I would encourage if elected would be a shift to not just Trust membership being the only revenue stream from members. Like what the STARS campaign has done now but in other areas.
I think it would be...
I am in no way saying that the solution to being (in my eyes) more sustainable is to relinquish trust control, in fact that is the last thing I want. But there is no way to predict that we are going to make tonnes and tonnes of big sales to keep ourselves in this current position for years to...
What I mean by the term "unsustainable" is the fact that you cannot predict that we will make big sales every two years, it is not a guaranteed source of income and therefore makes it unsustainable. What I mean by being uncompetitive is having the funds to buy players and have resources in order...
Obviously football is segregated for a reason, while its sad that it has to be so those are the rules. In terms of someones dedication to come to another fixture at the park as a way to get on the ticketing system (in order to have community status you have to have previous ticket sales or be a...
