Cureton to leave for Bristol Rovers

Jamie Cureton is on the verge of leaving to sign a one year deal at Bristol Rovers. He will sign by next week and has stated he wants one more year to be his last and wants it to be at rovers. This is for all your info and I am sure I will get slated for putting it on here.

Tisdale taking over 200k of the budget.....

100k plus expenses 50p per mile from bath adds up ha ha

Tisdale taking over 200k of the budget.....

Plus think di Canio was on a reported 400k per year at Swindon is it so far fetched?

Tisdale taking over 200k of the budget.....

I have not been off the mark of what I said before, we have gone for players and for one reason or another they have not come about. I did get a few right also but people don't seem to recall those.... I am just passing on interesting information if someone would like to actually give a figure...

Tisdale taking over 200k of the budget.....

Believe it or not your choice but 4k a week is what it is that's why only a few larger clubs came in for him when he was doing well.... Not rocket science why he did not go else where.

Tisdale taking over 200k of the budget.....

This was said to a mate by a board member of Torquay who was talking about Buckle to start with. Outside the biggest 6 clubs in league 1 he is on the most money 200k plus per year was said. I would think that's about right 4k per week if some of our players were earning 2k. But I think it would...

Tisdale taking over 200k of the budget.....

Apparently Tisdale earns over 200k per year which is one of the top eaners in league 1 let alone league 2 and he is moaning about the budget. Would we be better off saving 100k and getting a few decent players and another manager?

Do we go back with who might be available?

From what I can see it could be a strong possibility the likes of Seabourne, Harley, Matt Taylor, Ryan Taylor and Matt Gill may be available this summer..... Would we take any back and who would we be able to?

If I was tisdale I would go....

Probably more so for him, the club will have its ups and downs but I feel that the camp is not so together as it was and I think for his career he needs to go why he can. Also from a clubs point of view a new fresh pairs of eyes may do some good and motivate the ones who are not performing.

If I was tisdale I would go....

I think Tis is in danger of wrecking a very good reputation, I honestly think he has done a great job but he has taken us as far as he can. The budget is too small for us we need some quality fast and I think it shows how much Harley did last year and we can not afford to get anyone that level...

200k for Tisdale a good thing?

I think you are probably right, I think if we were mid table he would of been a front runner for both jobs but PR will put an end to it!

200k for Tisdale a good thing?

If rumours are true and Bristol City or Nottingham Forrest appoint Tis would it be a bad thing? We would possibly get 200k in compo plus a manager on same or less wages who could get another 2 players in with extra cash injection into the budget? Thoughts?
